Storytime Incursions

At Chinese Playtime, we bring the magic of storytelling to kindergartens, schools and libraries across Australia.

Our engaging Storytime incursions are designed to immerse young learners in the world of Chinese language and culture through a blend of songs, dance, reading and fun activities.

We ensure there are plenty of opportunities for children to actively participate, learn through movement, and connect with the Lulu and Lenny Learn Chinese stories.

Our purpose

BILL_3_edited.png

Chinese Playtime was established to create resources for children to learn without the reliance of a Chinese teacher or Chinese speaking parent.

The resources in physical and online format introduce new Chinese words spelled phonetically, where little or no language learning experience is required.

The books, videos, puzzles, games (and much more) are created to inspire language learning in children and to adopt a positive association with Mandarin from an early age.

Why learn Chinese?

As parents, you want to give your child every opportunity to succeed in life. Learning Mandarin is one of the best ways to do just that.

Developmental Benefits

Studies have shown that learning a new language can boost memory, concentration, and problem-solving skills, and that's just the beginning.

Most popular language

Mandarin is the most widely spoken language in the world and China's growing global influence makes it an increasingly valuable skill.

Appreciation of culture

Learning Mandarin can broaden children's perspectives and appreciation of different cultures.
